Green Street Arts Center
Wesleyan University's Green Street Arts Center provides a monthly forum for photographers and photo enthusiasts to share work, tips, questions and opportunities in a new series titled "Flash Forward." Participants are invited to bring up to five photos to each meeting for informal feedback, participate in a group exhibition project, or share their work online.
From September through December, the group exhibition project's theme is "Eye of History: The Camera as Witness." Associate Professor of History Jennifer Tucker will begin the September 9th meet-up with a brief introduction to historical photographs that shook the world. In January, Green Street will host an exhibition of "Eye of History" images created over the course of the fall.
Throughout the fall, Flash Forward meetings will take place on the second Tuesday of each month-September 9, October 14, November 11 and December 9. Everyone is welcome. Please join us each month to look, learn, and listen! For more information, visit the Green Street Arts website or call (860) 685-7871.
